"If you have that drive and are given the opportunity, there's nothing you can't accomplish.
I believe that." - John Jr.

I have a story to tell and would like to share it with young students. It's a true story of how curiosity allowed me to attain dreams. It's called STEAM today. It bears repeating to a new generation.

We:
...talk about John Henry Adams, Jr. (John Jr.) growing up at the turn of the 20th century during the Great Depression. His story was not unique. What he accomplished during his life-time was most impressive.

...share how his middle school and high school experiences were forged in a climate of academic support and high expectations. All against a backdrop of segregation during the Jim Crow era in America.

...promote learning through STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and math for eight to twelve year-old students.
...introduce books that aid us in getting young children's attention; reveal STEAM-related subjects, introduce activities that promote fundamentals like reading through animation in the classroom.
